How I want to be remembered

How I want to be remembered:
By the smell of the boiling tea in the evening
Beneath the loud laughs on the dinner table,
Under the scorching heat of the morning sun
I want to be remembered
While making the decision on how to set the plates on the Christmas day
While designing the canvas with paints and brushes on a lazy afternoon
I want to pass through your streets
When you want to fight over a silly remote or a colour pencil
When you see the dishes being rinsed under the subtle water
I want to take a toll near your head reminding you of my warm walks and talks
Through the silly days you snore or
An active day you work,
I want to be remembered.
I want to be remembered in all that you see and hear,
I want to be there with you every time life wakes up near you.
